Emily is so much more than a trainer to me. She is a friend, a confidante, an inspiration, a motivator…I have worked with a lot of great trainers over the years. I can honestly say that Emily does the best job of switching up the workouts and keeping them interesting. That’s really saying something since due to COVID we have been working out in my driveway more than 6 feet apart with just a yoga mat and two sets of weight. Even with this limited equipment, the variety and effectiveness of her workouts has not been sacrificed. I have back and knee issues from time to time and Emily is very mindful of not suggesting exercises that will aggravate the issues. In fact, since I have been working out with her, I’ve had much fewer flare ups. Emily is realistic about my fitness commitment. As a fellow working mom of three, Emily understands I don’t have hours to spend in the gym. Her work outs are highly efficient and she makes realistic suggestions for what I can do when I am not with her like ten minute routines. She is motivational but not annoying and pushes me but not in a drill sergeant way. The sessions are fun and pass quickly because Emily is a joy to be around. Since training with Emily, I have become stronger, more agile and leaner. I feel powerful and proud of the work I am doing to be healthy under her guidance. In my entire life, I have never been able to do a push up, not even on my knees. Now, I can do several…on my hands! To say I “recommend” Emily would be putting it mildly.

Training with Emily is something I look forward to every week! She is always upbeat and knows how to push you without being a drill instructor. More importantly she is extremely knowledgeable about what muscle groups to work out for the best results and provides adjustments based on each clients needs and abilities.
